K341 Steel Frame Packer

1. Application

K341 Steel Frame Packer is used for water injection, acidification, plugging, fracturing and other constructions.

2. Structure and work principle 

K341 Steel Frame Packer is mainly composed of upper joint, locking unit, seals, center tube, floating head, lower joint and other parts.

Sealing: When it reaches the design position, give pressure from tubing and then hydraulic come into inner of rubber from slotting of center tube to make the outer surface close to inner wall of wellbore so sealing oil casing annulus. Stop giving pressure, check valve in rubber keeps packer sealing.

Unsealing: pull string to cut off unsealing pin, and then there is a relative displacement between center pipe and rubber, inner and outer pressure of packer are balanced to realize unsealing.

3. Characteristics

1) Simple operation, no need to change operation technology.

2) Better adaptability, applicable to oil/water well with various conditions.

3) Valve system can effectively protect and exactly control setting of packer.

4) Big expansion coefficient, small diameter rubber barrel can seal the big diameter well. For example, Ф70mm packer can be used in 7＇＇casing and breakdown pressure can reach 28Mpa.

5) Small residual deformation. After 15 times more than 70 Mpa pressure differential repeated setting, rubber deformation is only 7mm.

6) High adaptability to well diameter. It can change along with deformation of wellbore.

7) Long sealing section and reliable setting. Two ends bare steel frame can anchor packer and prolong its service life time.

8) Easy to setting and reliable to release.

9) Can bear big pressure differential: work pressure is 70Mpa and max pressure can reach 85Mpa.

10) High temperature resistance: 125℃～150℃. It can reach 180℃ according to special requirement.

11) Special sand control design, filtering accuracy can reach 0.01--0.02mm. It's safe and reliable, not easy to have sand block or other accidents in operation.
